If you live a sober life and enjoy something like a French75 or Old Fashion, these can satisfy those needs without breaking your sobriety. You can get yours at drinkmonday.co
Alternatives with calming effects.
If you are looking for something that can give you sort of the same relaxing effects of alcohol look no further, I have tried a few different ones and Kava seems to be the ingredient in common. You can get Kava in many different froms and below are some I have tried recently:
Curious Elixirs
The first one on my list is going to be Curious Elixirs. I really felt nothing, I am larger 6’4 over 200lbs so maybe that had an impact. I ended up drinking 3 of them in a row and still nothing to write home about. These are very expensive and do not taste good. I would not buy again or recommend them to anyone.
Ü Relax
The next one is Ü Relax which I did not like either. The taste is sort of unbearable to me with little to no effect. I am not sure why these are not working for me, they have Kava and I have been to a Kava Tea shop and felt great and relaxed when drinking but these do not seem to do it for me. They come in little packets around 4 dollars a serving but if you a are not getting free shipping and handling the price goes way up. I do have some friends trying them out to get their opinion and I will update this section when I get it. My final thoughts are these a waste of money and you would probably be better off just getting some Kava tea from the store at a fraction of the cost.
Feel Free
3rd on my list is Feel Free and this one actually works. You feel a sense of calm and it is the closest thing I have ever had to feeling buzzed without the alcohol. The taste though is horrible, I had the classic and I believe they offer a coffee type version. It is creamy and I found it taste best mixed into a chocolate shake. Each bottle contains two servings. The only issues is these are not cheap at all, they want $105+ for 12 bottles which comes out to 24 servings. I was able to find them at my local gas station for 7.99 a bottle. Still not cheap but if you are going out and need something to help you relax and improve your mood, these so far are the best. Note: These do contain Kratom which could introduce its own addiction and could be flagged on Drug tests.
